I was going to be super organized and post this where it should be on the yacht promenade blog, but I keep on just getting the log in page. Sigh. Not going to fool around with that today, too much to do...
Kim had cleaned out the linen closet...she promptly took all the towels that I had sorted and put into color coded rolls and made the straightest neatest piles I have ever seen. Then she proceeded to put up little sticky notes warning all to stay out!
Consider yourself duly warned if you are coming on the boat to stay OUT of her linen closet! She does not have to worry about the crew going in their too much now does she?
I just cannot get my head around this new icemaker. Water runs constantly over something and ice cubes eventually fall off. Others may understand it, but it completely boggles my mind!
I gave Kim another nickname...this one is ARK. We will see if anyone figures it out! She had the next fun job of bleaching and sorting out the dive gear, masks and fins and the water toys....
She has not run away yet and she is still smiling which is good...
Family dinner one night, actually at the guest table (we won't get used to it!) I had to lighten up the picture as we could not see Felix against the black background! I feel sorry for the lone Caribbean Dominican Male against all of us! Hope he has a sense of humor and can give as good as he takes....
For the third time this year for some odd reason I was up at sunrise and took a picture. I know exactly the reason, it was hot on the boat and I wanted to turn the generator on for air conditioning! This is up at Fat Hog's Bay, we were on dock at Harbourview unloading and loading a ton of crap into our storage locker...
Look at our new COCKPIT COFFEE TABLE!!! Isn't it beautiful....I love it and it fits perfectly. The old wicker one served us faithfully for decades but it was time for it to go...
We spent yesterday in town renewing work permits and "things". That is as frustrating and as slow as it usually is! I am not even going to complain about it today, all part of the job! Yesterday we managed to get off the dock one more time though and made our way up to Virgin Gorda in the evening. The guys have to get the power boat sanded and bottom painted over the next couple days so we can get it launched this week.
That mean apparently for Connor it was time to put on his little mining light that he has become fond of, and cook the pork chops for dinner!
Dinner was particularly good tonight too. Simple, barbecued chops, rice and a yummy salad.
Took a picture of Kim the other day at Village Cay Marina. Bazza had dropped us off in town to do some shopping and then did not answer the call to come pick us up, so we took that opportunity to just sit and have a drink...
They are doing some work on the promenade mall in between waterfront and inner harbour, and was glad to see the palm trees were taken out in a clump. I hope that means that they will be going back in afterwards...They are big ones!
We are now up at Virgin Gorda, the boat is starting to look like a charter boat...until next time...
