Good morning. It is still definitely summer around these parts. This was our view waking up in the morning at Charlotte Amalie Harbor. Sunny and hot!
But, things were productive...Flagship had our mailed boxes in.....
And the boys came back from Tropical with our large pallet. Which they managed to take apart and get everything into the dinghy which was fairly impressive...
We have "stuff" everywhere!
The new improved large ice machine had to get from the dinghy onto the boat, which was accomplished with a halyard but not until after Bazza had gotten frustrated with Kim and I on the halyard only to have Connor confess later that it was actually his fault as he had set up the halyard wrong! Ahheeemmm...
Kim decided to stay out of the way on the other side of the boat....
But, eventually, all was good and we had a new improved larger ice machine on board. The new one makes 60 lbs per day, the smaller new one makes 30 lbs per day. Which one do you think would be better for us! Which, by the way, I have the new small ice maker for sale now....
My nice new cooktop was installed and I now have 5 burners that work again! Yippee!! I was down to about 2 and a simmer that did sweet fuck all!
Took a tour around to see some of the sunken yachts, these two are on the back side of Hassle Island
And Serendy is still fetched up on the rocks in East Gregory. Too bad that one was not taken up straight away, it had potential.....but god knows we don't need any more boats to fix!
All this hot sunny work means that we get to go for a DIVE! It took Connor awhile to find tanks for everyone and also to find tanks that happened to have air in them, but it was sure nice to hit the water...My BC is way too big for me now, which is a good thing!
It was time to start heading up to the British Virgin Islands after that, so we took some more moon and sunset pictures.....
And just for my cousin Matt, who likes this stuff, I have decided to rename myself the torpedo queen as I find a lot of torpedo bottles. This is a new one for me, it is from Southampton and says Lemonade on it. I did not have a lemonade one...
We pulled up onto mooring in Road Habor about 9 PM. Good to be really home.
