Typical, I have been the islands for what, ten days and the screen on my laptop went all wonky last night in the middle of a blog entry. Therefore I am typing this on Bazzas computer this morning. A PC. I know he is going to tease me that his PC computer saves the day one more time though!
Valerie at Myetts had posted this pic of an Iguana on Cane Garden Bay. Sharyl, on our charter, is deathly afraid of Lizards and Iguanas. Her heart pitter pattered seeing this picture! I thought we should make a stop at Cane Garden Bay today!
The guests did stop at the Baths yesterday, and I found a couple pictures of the trip through the rocks....
With variable winds less then 5 knots sailing is certainly not really on our agenda. So, instead we took off for a scuba dive and snorkel on the Rocus. Horseshoe Reef was flat.
Silly me, I have done this dive many time, and truly, we could see the stupid boilers right off our stern. Well, when I jumped in the water with my camera, I could not find the wreck. Good thing I was not leading divers! Out of practice I guess! 54 minutes into the dive and I had still not found one piece of the wreck, just at the very end I found Lisa and Margot underneath the boat though. Mission accomplished. A picture of the guest diving!
Don't feel too sorry for me though as there were plenty of schools of fish to keep me entertained and a nice eel swimming around out in the open too...
It was off for a trip to Conch Mountain then....We fished, and actually had about 4 hits. Unfortunately there were nothing but stinky barracuda that did not even make it onto the boat!
Bazza and I stayed behind while the rest went off in the Bingo Bus to Conch Mountain...
Had to giggle when I heard the description of them sending Conner climbing the hill to get the conch they wanted "no, not that one Conner, over a bit, you know, the pink and brown one!" All I know is that the conch pile is SMELLY with capital letters and I am sure Conner was too!
This picture is especially for Betsy, another one of our Adventurous Wench girls who is usually with Margot on vacation here. A special big hi from Margot and all of us...This was walking down the beach...
An arty shot of line...
Stay tuned for part two...This took me hours to do on this computer!
