We dropped off Bruce at the airport at some ungodly hour this morning even though we were sure there would be no staff at the airport yet and promptly went back to bed until 11 AM. Enjoying the luxury of having the yacht all to ourselves! I asked Bazza to take me for a dinghy ride through the mangroves here just before sunset so I could take a few pictures, thinking it would be cooler for me, but totally forgetting that there would be no see ums around and he could not see the depth of the water either!
I don't think I realized the mangrove system in East End was so extensive... They are making a lot of land beside us. All the construction garbage going in.

I think this little boat is starting to sink...

Several boats either sunk or sinking in the mangroves, THe "Kitty Hawk" is not doing so well...

In fact birds are building nests in her masts!

This boat, has been here a long, long time, the trees have grown all around it and even up the mast!

Watched the Upside Down Jellyfish...

Noticed for the first time the remnants of an old dock and an old stone house on the hill out toward Buck Island...

Lots of Cacti there too!

Took pictures of Promenade in the disappearing light on our way back...

And Bazza happily has moved his ROV on the boat, and spread out his electronics in the saloon. They will be here all month. He is pretty happy. I asked him if the ROV was almost done and he said "MAYBE" And that was all I got out of him!

Decided that one night shortly I am going to do a dive with my macro lens on the dock pillars and see what I see for wildlife, could be a lot!
My son Chad sent me a pic of what the nite billboard will be like on the Vodka Bar they are opening in Edmonton...
