We are back on dock tonight! Yippee!!
At least we had plenty of beverages on the boat to last out a storm and if it was really long, we could have been down to the two cases of White Zinfandel I have on board that people say they love but NEVER drink!

We mostly hung around and by mid afternoon we were untying lines and pulling out anchors. Both of us moved out in South Sound to judge the sea conditions...

We took a short detour to go beachcombing, and I asked the guys to bring me back a present!

Eagle Eyed Bruce looking for a place to anchor the old tub...

The waves breaking over the reef! Yep, quite large!!

The boys on their mission. They came back empty handed, even I had managed to get them a present of a floating board that came by the dinghy!

Our trip home was more exciting then the hurricane was. Until we were turned down wind, the seas were pretty sloppy coming out of the sound... Sails up helped (you heard that didn't you?? Sails up (well, only a couple) and we weren't on charter! The guys got the fishing lines out as stirred up seas often means good fishing, and we DID have a good size mackerel, right up to the back up the boat, when he went away! Sigh!!

Then we managed to find fish buoys and lines, that wrapper our props, and not even a fish pot on the end!

Yeah, all our lines tangled up in everything!

Bazza played Sea Hunt with a knife in teeth jumping in the free the lines...

and there they go!
Simeone departed at the same time as us, however, I don't believe he will make it home tonight, as it was just on dark when we arrived. I would like to thank him for the loan of potatoes for tonights dinner though! Simeon, if you do make it here, I will save some for you in the galley!!!
Enough excitement for one day, dinner, movie, bed and hopefully tomorrow I can get some work done!!!!
