Well, I understand a lot of maintenance things were crossed off the list today, everything from the trampoline to SCUBA gear tune ups, roach spraying throughout the boat, (always even more important down here in summer!), Sail bags sewn, new bits put in some air conditioners...the list always goes on.
I went out off Buck Island here later on in the afternoon to get in the water for a swim. I had been contemplating gong over to Salt Island, but I did not think my kidney's would be very happy in the dinghy yesterday going across the channel.
There is not a lot of fish here, the fishermen always have traps on this corner, and looking in the traps the catches look smaller and smaller, not a great deal of hard coral either, although there is some nice soft coral and against the blue water, some interesting shapes...

I know where there is many lobster under a very shallow ledge about 4 feet though!

Not a very good picture but there was a spotted moray....

and a sand diver...

That about covered the day yesterday, and it was time for a movie about then. I was in the mood for a "chick flick" so Bazza watched "he's not that into you" it was amusing enough to suit the mood!
The boys were going out to dinner last night and came back with to be cooked pizzas, which surprised me! Monday night, everything was closed and I was sad to hear that Emile's across the road was just drinking out the bar last night, it was there last night and they were closing down. Too bad, our guests enjoyed going across there. I am sure another one will take it's place sometime...
The Marina here is busy building a small place on the dock by the pool that will serve breakfast and lunch, as you really have to go over to Trellis Bay from here. That will be good. So many changes! It is the summer time and I expect we will see a lot more yet!
Brent was pretty excited as they were giving him Moosehead Beer across the road last night and he could not believe his luck! He stated that he NEVER would have thought about walking into a bar down here and saying "I'll have a Moosehead please" (Canadian Beer) but the bartender told him to drink them that no one else would!
