As many of you recall Richard had broken his knee quite badly kite boarding in early May, not that long before they were supposed to be coming to the BVI to take over the yacht for us for the summer.
We hopefully have an update on that!

He has been "partial weight bearing for the last month" and in a couple weeks, he should be able to go to "full weight bearing" and start rehabilitation which, if all goes well, a month or two later they should be back out in the BVI. This means that Bazza and I will be staying on the yacht and doing charters until they do arrive sometime in September or October, and then they will take over running charters for MOST of the 2009/2010 season, with the exception being the middle of March until the middle of May when we will be at the helm.
We hope that Brent will be working with us for the next year, as he is busy studying for his Boat Master licenses. Simeon, is cagey on his plans and once I can pry them out of him I will let you know!
Of course, this is all subject to recuperation and other factors...But rest assured, either Richard or Lisa or Bazza and I will be on board over the next year. Bazza is himself having an operation shortly for a torn meniscus in his knee. Fortunately, the recovery time should not be too long.
I understand that Lisa is ready to put to use her cooking course she took over the winter, and I can tell she is eager to get back to work as we are playing many many games of SCRABBLE on line at the moment!
We are already booked quite heavily for the coming winter season, so if you plan on coming to see us, you should contact me soon. I will put up a post in the next day or so with what is available as far as space!
We do however have tons of room up until mid December AND we have a great rate on it....
