It was a busy day today..and hot like the BVI can be in the summer. I even set my alarm clock this morning!
Our fishermen did not do so well fishing last night, and I am not hearing too much action tonight either! However, every snorkleled for a long time at the Caves this morning and then we had a nice slow long boring (did I say that?) spinnaker run over to Jost Van Dyke. I made them some of my frappucino's and even gave up my pink cup to Sherry! They enjoyed them on the trampoline watching the water go (slowly) by...DId I mention it was hot out?

I still managed to bake buns though and it was lunch time during the long hot downwind sail...Do you think I have made my point yet? THe guests liked it!

We made it over to White Bay and the guests made their way into the beach. They pronounced my bushwhackers and Painkillers better then on land and they said they liked One Love's better then Soggy Dollar! Guess what? It was hot here too, and all the usual suspect day boats were over from St John and St Thomas... We made our way down to the west end of Jost Van Dyke to do a snorkel late in the afternoon, and I was ecstatic to grab my camera and jump in the water! It had been quite a few days since I have been in and I really miss it!

The west end of Jost has got to have the most Basket Stars I have ever seen anywhere here. THey are beautiful at night when they all come out!

I did watch one of my diffusers for my strobe wander away, but thankfully I saw it and swam for it. I already lost my sun shade on my dome port last week....

There were File Fish at the cleaning station...

And a nice spotted eel out in the open...

Many, many mackerel wandering back and forth...

Bait balls around of course...

The attendant tarpon watching the bait as well...

and the attendent guests watching the bait and tarpons as well!

I think I may have gotten their best angle here what do you think?

DEFINITELY the best angle!

I do not see too many black basket stars....

Looking back at the boat from inside a little cave...

All the bait fish....

Looking out again at the bait balls...

A silhouette of a snorkeler, not sure which one he is though...

After our circle we made our way around the outside of Jost, trailing some lines to see what we could catch, but that was nada.
Tonight was MU MU night! Most got into the spirit, some loved the Hawaiian like napkins to go along with it...

I made every one pose on their way to get dinner...

Some took the word MU MU literally!

Some, well they do not look too tropical now do they Mike?? Mike is another one who says that he gets up at 4 AM and checks to see if I have updated my blog!!

BBQ ribs and rosemary garlic roasted potatoes tonight...

Some of our guys made a plate at dinner and eat at midnight! Instead of eating at dinner time! Different!!

It was easy for me to get into the MU MU spirit, a couple told me I looked like an angel so here I am, all angelic like and all...

Forgot to mention, I had to go into the hospital here on Friday, and since we had had a case of Swine Flu this week on island, everyone has to be screened before they go INTO the hospital! Struck me as funny, being screened before you could go into a hospital. Had to giggle though as I overheard a conversation of someone who was going to visit somebody in hospital, and instead of going through the screening they stepped outside and said they would go home and pray for them instead! Made sense to me!!
