It is turnaround day on the boat and I seem to barely have energy to sit straight never mind clean and provision the boat. ah well... We had sunshine yesterday! Yahoo!!
The guests had a great snorkel at Monkey Point and then we sailed over to Salt Island for some sea glass expeditioning. I wanted to get in the water to see how murky it was compared to last week, and, Salt anchorage is a bit better...
Going under the boat....

Looking up at the boat..

My favorite anemones...

A spotted Moray Eel and the next picture is the pretty piece of coral that his home is in...

Squirrel Fish with an Isopod...

And a Rock hind...

About this time I heard the engines on the boat start which was my cue to come up as we were going over to the Rhone for a dive and a snorkel.
Here I found another Spotted Moray who was just living in a hole in the ground...

Gary and Simeon exploring the wreck..

Fish life!

Under the shallow swim through on the Rhone...

As you can see from these pictures, it is still pretty thick and green, a bit better then last week here, but not a lot. This does seem to be one of the worst hit spots though.

Our snorkelers, and me looking up at them from only about 30 feet!

I bet you don't know what this picture is?? It is a herd of cow spoons for cocktail hour! Lisa would love them...

It was decided that for cocktail hour I would make homemade ice cream, homemade hot fudge sauce, and we would have liqueurs as well! The chocolate milkshakes and frappucino's mid day were not enough sweets for them! (Elderly folks, what can I say!)

Some I believe, enjoyed it more then others! ANd some of our crew members (not Bazza and I!) poured the left hot fudge sauce out while doing dishes!!! Never mind that I had made a very expensive double batch, as I can freeze it and use it for ice cream for week! Yes, there was a dog house involved!

THey also asked for spaghetti tonight and we were glad to oblige!

The last night, everyone had a great day, and we had a wonderful sail back to Roadtown just on dark, so it was up early and packed to get them on the ferries to go back home!

Until next years when we see them, it was another good week, in spite of the rain, which is about what they all said below here in the guest book!
What a great week we had in spite of the weather. You all did an amazing job and we appreciated it. Sorry we came up short on the chocolate sauce and gas in the dinghy! But- oh well, things happen! We all enjoyed our week. Thanks for taking care of us. See you next week. DON AND NANCY STMARYS, GA
It's been a fabulous vacation despite the weather. THank you so much for all the TLC and hospitality you share with us. We truly feel like we have a home away from home when we are with you. May god bless you all and keep you safe. We hope to see you again real soon. You know you have an open invitation in St Marys and we would love for you to come by if you're in the area. JANE AND GEORGE, ST MARYS, GA
Thank you once again for such a great time. I cannot tell you how I feel! It is so hard to put into words...and it's truly the best of the best. We love the sail, the water. The food (no chicken!) I can not find the words to say enough thanks for all you have done for Gil. Until next time, May the sun shine upon you and may the winds be fair and the rain behind you! God bless you all and cheers. LINDA AND GIL ST MARYS
Thanks much for another (6th) great vacation! Even with the weather you all found ways to make it fun for us old people from St Mary's. The food and drink were fantastic as usual and we especially enjoyed the ice cream cocktail hour on the last day. Really enjoyed our snorkel at Monkey Point and the Rhone. B and Simeon were very good and took care of our every want. Sometimes before we asked! YOu all just keep making our short time with you better. Until next time all the best! Hope you get some time off soon!! BOB AND PEGGY, ST MARY'S GA
And for those who want an update on Richies knee, they are still in Auckland and I believe flying back to England in another week or so, where, as you can probably tell by the xray, he will have a long recuperation, and they have warned that a year from now he will have to have the pins taken out so it will make it easier to do a knee replacement in the future! Gulp! I am not seeing him climbing around boats for quite awhile with that, so I am busy trying to suck up to my crew members so THEY stay and work (of course, they love me, so I hope I don't have to work too hard at that!)
Best of luck Richard...
