It is the start of another incredible week on Promenade!
Our Swim Vacationers made there way down the dock to Harbourview Marina, the first group that we have picked up there this season, and since they showed up at different times, it was nice. I do have to admit that I had fallen asleep on the couch just before they arrived so when I heard voices I sprung into action with the cheery smile on my face that took awhile to warm up!!
We headed out and sailed over to Beef Bluff where we had some lunch and a bit of a chat...

It was nice and calm so they jumped in for a "get used to the water" swim out to the point, here are all their little heads bobbing in the water...

We have one non swimmer (her husband is the swimmer) who had the right idea and quickly found a book (well, borrowed a book as their luggage is lost in the airline vortex somewhere!)

After a bracing sail to the Baths (like that nautical term hey, bracing???) It was time for another mile or two swim for them. Our photographer and Michelle went with Simeon in the dinghy and they were off!

Well, kind of off, don't know whether we had bad fuel or what, but they did not get very far and it was time to call on Bazza the Mechanic!

Our swimmers were fine without the mechanical propulsion though and off they cheerily went. It was a great afternoon for swimming here, late enough in the day for all to be gone...

We can spot them well in the water with their orange caps on their head...

and then there has to be one in every crowd! This week we have several from Maine, one from Indiana, a couple from Toronto, Canada (two weeks in a row with Toronto vacationers!) and a TEXAN! You can always tell the Texan in the group and this one carries her own Texas flag with her, which we hung. Did you know that the red is supposed to be down to signify the blood spilled at the Alamo? That is my trivia bit for the day!

Seared Tuna for dinner tonight, a quick blog entry and i am off to bed again to finish that nap! You can also follow along with the Swim Vacation Bloggers this week on T
HEIR blog at this link on trivacation! We are just blogging fools on this boat!
