We were supposed to be having a lazy day today, the sun was out and even though it was still windy it was warm, there were books to be finished, tans to be topped up etc! Our intrepid divers set off for Angel fish reef or sea horse reef as Rich now calls it!
They had a great dive too, sting rays, turtles swimming along for half the dive, yadder, yadder!!! I didn't go, hence the lack of enthusiasm, cleaning the fridge didn't compare! Chad went along with the divers and had an epic swim/snorkle, which he loved, we tried to pick him up in the dingy and he was having none of it!
We had a sail after that, the bays we wanted to go to were all a bit rough and time was a ticking and bellies grumbling, so we swung into Little Harbor for a quick lunch stop, the guests all adored it there (again!) none of them realised they had been there on the first afternoon, which we found quite amusing, infact they loved this new bay so much they didn't want to leave!
After lunch, books came out, bimbo mats were occupied, every one looked very relaxed. The bay was very calm, about the flatest I have seen it this season, so I figure as every one is cosy, I would go for a quick water ski, marvellous it was too
Nobody wanted to be left out, so off Helen went, she hasn't skiied for 15 years, she was a pro! Look no rope!
Chad was next, he had a swerve and splash first time, but another pro second time up!
Then off went Keith, is that a look of determination??
The divers were ready for another dive, so we did the corner by the Chubb house, which was an amazing and relaxing last dive for the group!
As soon as my head was out the water I had a life jacket thrown on me and I was off Predatoring, as was my ma
Keith and Helen were not being out done and they were off next
Then B and Chad
Rich was in a mean mood today and he kicked all our butts on the Predator! Paula, Chad and B also managed a quick banana boat too!!! What a hectic day, every one was exhausted by dinner!
Me and Janice had a quick scrabble game after dinner, couldn't be bothered to get the board out so we played on line!!
This morning every one was off at the crack of dawn, my Ma was the first to leave at 8am!! What an ungodly hour! Every one else was off for 10am, except Janice who kept us company a little longer! She did get 30 mins to laze today!
Back in Road Town, the seagulls are all starting to make there way back to the BVI, we had a herd of them on the little dingy and on the yellow ball behind our mooring, keeping B company while he has been cleaning the boat!
We had a fantastic week with our group, it was great having the Brits on board too, but apparently I don't speak English too well any more! It was great to see Janice and my Ma too, always good to welcome old friends aboard and great making new ones.
Paula wrote a lovely comment in our guest book -
Thanks for a great week! The enthusiasm of the crew is unmatched. Regardless of what we needed, we were met with a smile and an extremely positive attitude. The hospitality was not only greatly appreciated, but superceeded our expectations. Boat life (food, cabins, amenities) were incredible. Not to mention extracuricular activities, amazing snorkeling, diving and water sports. We completly appreciated all their efforts to make this vacation wonderful. There was always a cunning plan, that was orchestred perfectly and insured everyone had a great time! We look forward to coming back!
