We had some unusual luck fishing last night, we netted an octopus!
I got my butt kicked at scrabble too! But still enjoyed it.
Today started off cloudy, then it went rainy, but we were not perterbed, we headed to Monkey Point, and the group went to the beach, not a lot of snorkelling on that side of the Islands at the moment, too much sand in the water from the big waves last week.
We set off for Jost and at one point lost it in the clouds, but we managed to find it and made our way to the Bubbly pools!
This is the only picture I got as the battery ran out in the camera! I did get a cute picture of the day of Mr Cam though eating his chocolate bar!
After Predatoring for a few hours, every one was a bit cold, the towels had been in the engine room to warm them up for the kids and we wrapped them up like sausage rolls!
Dinner was Greek night, which is one of the crews favorites, the guests looked like they enjoyed it too
but I think they were far more impressed with the home made chocolate ice cream!

It was a cloudy day again today, the sun kept threatening to break through, but never really made it! It didn't bother my hardy group, who set off for Bitter end after breakfast and were not seen again till nearly lunch time, there was a shopping extravaganza!
I found a sunset picture from last night to show you, it was amazing
We even caught a fish too
Anyway, back to today, we set off and had a great sail, we caught another fish on the way
too small to eat though, so he gets to see another day! We made it to Guana Island, we got our favorite spot there and the watersports commenced! We also got the Power lounger out for the big kids, the young ones wanted to try it first, they hopped in, sat there and waited for something to happen, they couldn't believe that all it did was sit there!
The big kids liked it
We aquired a new dingy driver
Who then went on the banana boat for a special ride with his mom
This is a "i want to banana boat NOW!" face
Here they are looking a bit chirpier

...from New Orleans before we go back on the #10 west tomorrow. To where? No idea, but I will have to figure it out soon as we have flights booked out of San Francisco to go to Australia next Tuesday! And, so I finish that story, I did use every single last point we had and more on American to go back down to Tortola after coming back from OZ! It was a hassle using them and trying to get an itienary that anyone actually wanted to fly, but i perserved! Had enough to go first class anytime there and back.
I am afraid I don't have any cute children pictures like Lisa does either! Hers are priceless.
My parents did send me a picture of a bird that got stuck in their birdhouse, and they cut the whole larger for him and apparently there is two birds fighting over this valuable piece of real estate now! I thought at first glance that the stuff on the trees behind was snow, but it must be blossoms!!

Do you know what this haphazard mess is? No well, neither do I! I stay out of that corner totally, but Bazza does seem quite content in it!

We have not left the RV for a couple days. It has been wonderful! I made nachos for dinner last night and they looked good so I took a picture...Sadly lacking in the picture department I know!

And I found this picture of what the guests were wearing from the last charter! To the utter horrification and mortification of their teenage daughter! I bet!!
I ran out of blue stuff for my drinks tonight and instead of blue drinks they are red. They taste almost exactly like a Cherry Mr Misty that I used to get from Dairy Queen when I was a child! Bazza says he has never seen anyone happier with food then I am..Yep, some people love cocaine, I love food! I could have worse addictions! I was teasing my sister that I was going to Ryan's for buffet and she had woken up that morning and decided that she was going to eat nothing BUT whole unprocessed foods, by the time lunch time came she was wondering why she ever thought that was a good idea!
After the clouds yesterday we were all happy to see the sunshine out this morning, our ladies even saw a beautiful rainbow over the mangroves early morning! So what have we done today? well, we started with a mangrove tour to try and find some baby sharks, they were all hiding but it was fun anyways....
Here they are on their kayak safari
The Easter Bunny made a suprise stop on the boat (AKA B, who wanted to know if he got a bunny outfit!) He hid their eggs all over the boat and we had an egg hunt. I think we found most of them but there may be a few that turn up over the next week or so! For the big kids I bought some mini chocolate eggs, they are what my Gran always bought me for Easter back in the UK! The crew definetly had a few too many and were feeling a bit sick by lunch time!
After mangroves and egg hunts, we headed over to the Baths, the kids hung out on the trampolines for a while on the way over and got soaked
They loved the Baths and had a good run around through the rocks, well all except one, little Cam decided it was nap time, so he hung out with the crew and slept away! I got this cute picture of him yesterday power napping, this guy can sleep any where!
I also found this funny picture from banana boating yesterday, a novel way of riding!
For a change today, we broke out the Predator, the first one to ride it to hitch a ride to the beach was little Cam and mom, toys in hand!
Now this doesn't look like a guest
Here we go, theres the kids
The ladies like to play scrabble after dinner, I am quite partial to a game and have been invited to play, this is exciting for me, I get to play with real people instead of random strangers on Face Book! I am also practicing ready for my mum and Janice next week, who are scrabble demons!

Our kids were up at 5am this morning, according to mums, wondering if it was time to get up yet! So by 7am they were all buzzing and ready to go, wondering what the hold up was!
After breakfast we moved off to Salt Island for all manner of adventure, we snorkelled man head point
Here they are in action! and heres some of the pictures they took for me!
A big old pile of conch shells here!
We explored Salt Island and did the Geo cache, here they all are
and searching for sea glass
even found a wreck!
We sailed to Beef Bluff and found new uses for clothes pins
Rich taught the kids how to blow the conch
Then we banana boated for the afternoon and fell off a lot! B was there with a helping hand!
Rich and B took it in turns driving and playing, I swear they kept going longer than the kids! It was a bit cloudy today, after 2 hours they were cold, so it was a quick stop for hot chocolate, the big kids had mojitos, which warmed them up just as well!
Some took a nap while this was going on
But sprung into action after the hot chocolate, this picture is a bit blurred but its still cute!

Happy Bunny Friday to everyone! I am having a web day. I have forced myself to put down my scrabulous games on Facebook and going to catch up on a whole bunch of "things" that I have to upload and put on my various websites. I knew I had a lot, but I never knew I would be at it ALL DAY! Everyone else in New Orleans seems to be partying, we can hear music everywhere and we are working. Come on, roll out the sympathy!
Lisa told me that they have picked up their new charter guests, and we have a few children for a change onboard. Apparently the newbie is having more fun then the kids! Now, that is just not right!!
They are filming a movie just outside our RV park here in New Orleans, called 12 rounds. Not sure who is in it! It is a boxing movie of some kind.
For those who are interested in viewing some of the video of some of the swell that came up our beaches over the last couple days, there is some video's up on a new site that is done by "Island Jim" who says it is for uploading and sharing video's on the BVI. You can get there here at BVI Video Online
Island Jim has been coming to the BVI for the last 18 years, and with longer and longer trips every year, he decided it made more sense for him to live here full time, which he did about ten years ago. Video is a hobby for him and he has plans to film the building of the Sloop Endeavor by the Jost Van Dyke Preservation Society through to completion and is also working on a couple documentaries of some local musical characters. It will be good to have a site that is easy to exchange and look at video on the BVI.

You can get to Jost Van Dykes Preservation Society for more info HERE
And for some pictures on the swell which managed to take away some phone booths and parts of the structures at Josiahs, here is a good link. Pictures of BVI swell
And for those coming down here who like to check what the swell and wind is doing, here is a good source for it, according to other charter yachts it is pretty accurate even a week out, which would be much better then the weathermen anywhere do! Windfinder forecast for the BVI
Just a few odds and ends that I wanted to put out there and get out of my "to do" box!
Those are about the cutest pictures of the children Lisa!! I am sitting here going "aw!"
