Yep, here I sit sick in the San Juan airport. The flight (go figure!) to Orlando is delayed 5 hours so it leaves here at almost 11 tonight and gets into Orlando at 2 AM! Who flies at that time??
When we got here this afternoon and saw how delayed it was we were hoping they would cancel it early and send us to a hotel to sleep, but no such luck. I am sure they will wait until 1030 to cancel it so when they send you to the hotel with the little vouchers all the meal places are closed! We are the last ones sitting in the Admirals Lounge, every one else appears to have found a flight but us. At least I don't have to fight anyone for the washroom that I seem to be spending a lot of time in!

Richard and Lisa have this charter well in hand, and we don't have to all share the captains quarters now! We had a boat radio us on our way back up from St Thomas the other day, they did not get the name, but said it was a wooden ketch who said he reads our blog and loves the underwater pictures! I have really missed taking some of those this trip down to the BVI, but never fear blog readers, as Richy JUST got the housing for his nifty new canon and we expect to see amazing pictures coming out of him soon. He already has a pretty good eye!

Those in the BVI are lucky right now, as because there has been no swell up for awhile, the water is nice and clear. At Trellis Bay last night we could see clear to the bottom (unusual) and we watched the tarpons and rays swimming around.
For those who keep track, diesel was $4.32 in Charlotte Amalie this week. It is costing us twice as much to fill the boat up as it was a few years ago...
Lisa has also got me onto Scrabulous on Facebook, now I seem to have a lot of games going on as well!

I received an interesting email today...I forwarded it onto a friend who is a trademark lawyer, as quite frankly, although I never mind when people point out that I did not credit them on the web, and try to always post a link, these were three common english words and I could not believe that someone could trademark them from you using them on the web in the entire world.
I have blanked out one of the words, as if I did somehow infringe by using the initial three words, I certainly do not want to again, but you can all figure it out, it is what i do!!

I don't have any problem with doing the following, but I am curious how someone worldwide "trademarks" three common words like yacht **** guide so no one can possibly use them together. The article was not relevent to www.yacht****guide.com in anyways, nor referencing your company. Unless of coure you own the company bviyachtguide which is something different.
I would like clarification on that.

As I said above, I am not against doing what is said above, but I am quite incredulous that someone can trademark three common words in my industry and then stop anyone else from using them, so I am digging a little bit deeper on that. I also think that if he did not understand what I was asking, that it is an intentional denseness. Again, not trying to pick a fight or get in trouble, just having a hard time in my mind.
I am also not against paying my fair share when I get referrals recommendations from someone somewhere, but I am concerned when every act you do in this world means you have to pay someone. I am sure if someone could figure out how to tax us for breathing air they would do it! Thoughts anyone??

On the upside the guests could not believe how "pristine" the yacht looked! Their words not mine! Yep, it does, and as long as Bazza and Richard keep on talking nice to her she will continue to look that way!
