It was a real treat for us all to sleep up here the first night! No noise, no Peter Island ferry, no lights, and we all slept until about almost noon! But then it was on to work. we had to find hard bottom instead of muck to work on, so Brent, being the lowest man on the totem pole, starting by doing it from the dinghy

but was quickly promoted to standing in the water!

Then the vinyl blue line had to come off all the way around the boat. Sigh.

Hold on! This donkey is not supposed to be here!! We saw him the other day on Tortola!

Promenade nestled in the bay. One thing that is neat, we finally have an internet and phone connection up here! The first year! In fact, I am going to hazard a guess and say that I have had the best internet service of anywhere in the BVI sitting up in here the last few days! Must be because there are no other boats around!

I did get to go out and take some pictures of the birds sitting in the trees. They let me come very close... A nice Egret

and a nice pelican..

Just a shot of the mangroves.

For you conch shell collectors there is no shortage of conch shells from the fishermen here! Lots of pretty ones!

Now this picture is just Brent being silly. Lisa and I just cannot believe we are sitting in the mangroves again painting ANYTHING!

I had to take this picture, as I made lemon meringue pie the other day and I have NEVER had my meringue rise like this down here! It is usually a flop, although bread rises very well!

Chances are that we will be able to drag ourselves out of the mangroves tonight (good thing as we are almost out of food!) and tomorrows trip is to St Thomas to provision, pick up the fridge compressor, pick up the new killer banana boat....and on and on! You guys know the drill by now!
