Quite windy today, blowing straight into the harbor! My husband is sounding worse and worse every day, so he has played games and I have worked! Been typing away on the computer all day again.
I have very limited availability on the boat this season left.
We have already sold one and a half cabin on our Sailing on March 30th in aid of the environmental fund for the defense of Hans Creek and Beef Island! THIS is exciting! It means people care! Yippee!
I have one more cabin left, so please, consider it. You can always make a $10.00 donation on the donation button on the front page of
BVIHCG and VIEC
I also received a sizable donation or two today from other charter boats.
I probably have a 5-6 night gap around April 13th and I have a perfect Sunday to Saturday opening April 27th to May 3rd, and I still have openings at the end of May, around May 19th through 31st.
That is everything we have open until August! So busy busy, Now I know why I have been typing up contracts left and right!
One thing I found quite cute on the last charter, is how they made use of my blog, their laptop, our internet connection and their webcam to really share their vacation with their children and grandchildren back home. THey really included everyone in and they loved reading the comments that their friends put on the blog (as did we!) They showed the grandchildren the blue colors of the water and sang happy birthday to the babies on their first birthday sitting in the cockpit of the boat! I enjoyed doing it, but I believe I have about a thousand pictures from last week now to go through!
Some groups WANT NO pictures on the blog..."what happens in the islands stays in the islands" and others love having everything documented! it is totally up to you!
It is an early night with tv again, as today was on of the many holidays that the BVI has in March. 4 I believe, so my long list of things I had to do in town did not happen!
Cruise Ship Queen Mary was in harbor today!
