Staying overnight in San Juan on the way to Tortola

Well we are in Seattle, going to be attempting to board my nemesis American Airlines later on today to come back to the BVI! We shall see what tales we have to tell this time!
I have been asking Bazza what he is going to do about my broken air conditioner on the boat Lisa, everyone knows what premenopausal women are like!

I, unfortunately, because of the economy, have a cancellation on the boat at the end of next May! Too bad, but lucky for someone else who will be able to snap up this prime week!

One interesting tidbit I heard from Hopper at Swim Vacations In planning his trips swimming through the BVI this winter he sent me this email, and a good thought.
"While researching flight options for my December trip, I discovered that it has remained inexpensive to fly into Puerto Rico (I read they paid off the airlines). Even with a night’s stay in PR and a Cape Air flight to Beef Island the same morning we set sail, it’s cheaper than a flight to St Thomas, a ferry, and a hotel in Tortola.
The St. Thomas flights are few and very expensive."
Good idea, I have asked where he is staying in San Juan that night, although I know there is a Best Western right at the airport...
